St Patrick’s Cathedral Vancouver
Project Overview
Myk Shaflik of Allstar explains his audio design for the church facility.
To overcome the large reverberant space, I used a pair of JBL CBT70J-1 with the CBT70JE-1 Low End Extension for the mains and
mounted discreetly on the proscenium wall . With their great focus and high gain to feedback we could leave the front Ambo
in place with no issues. JBL Control 28t’s were used for side and balcony delay fills. Amps were Lab Gruppen C and E Series.
Some Primacoustic panels were added to deal with some reflections off the balcony face. Audio processing is Biamp
and control is Extron Pro series processor and Touch Screen.
